I am a licensed psychologist in private practice in Bethesda, Maryland since 2002. My degrees include Ph.D., and M.A., in clinical psychology from the University of Rochester, and B.A. in child study from Tufts University. I completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in college mental health at the Harvard University Health Service, in Cambridge, MA. My predoctoral internship was at Harvard Medical School/ Massachusetts Mental Health Center, in Boston. Early on, I trained at the Counseling and Mental Health Center at the University of Rochester. I have worked at the George Washington University Counseling Center, and for Arlington County Department of Human Services. I have supervised the psychotherapy of psychology graduate students at George Washington University. Currently I teach workshops on the treatment of eating disorders and self-harm behavior.
